Governor Dapo Abiodun Disbursed Over 2.7m as Scholarship TO OGITECH Students

In a heartwarming event that unfolded on Friday, 27th October 2023. Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration demonstrated its unwavering commitment to education by disbursing over 2.7 million Naira in scholarships to 11 outstanding students from the Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa. Hailing from Remo North, Ikenne, and Sagamu Local Government areas.
These students were celebrated during a prestigious Scholarship Awards ceremony hosted by the Gbemiga Abiodun Memorial Education Program (GAMEP) at the Christ Apostolic Grammar School in Iperu, Remo, Ogun State.
The Scholarship Awards were bestowed upon these diligent students with the aim of propelling their educational careers to new heights. During the ceremony, scholarship cheque was presented to the deserving recipients Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, the Rector, Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, who was represented by Mr. Sholotan, Kazeem the Institute’s Alumni Chairman.
The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, who represented the Governor, His Excellency, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun CON, heartily congratulates all the scholarship awardees at the ceremony. He admonished them to make use of the uncommon opportunity to further their academic career progress.


The ceremony had the presence of various dignitaries from all works of life who came together to celebrate the commendable achievements of these students. This scholarship award ceremony stands as a testament to the state government’s unwavering commitment to education and its dedication to nurturing promising talents within the state.
