YABATECH Rector Pays Courtesy Visit to Oba Of Igbobi Sabe Kingdom

The Rector of Yaba College of Technology, on Friday, paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Igbobi Sabe Kingdom, Oba Adeyemi Adeniyi, Maforunyomi 1.
The visit was an opportunity for the Rector to meet with the King and discuss ways to strengthen further the existing cordial relationship between the College, the Palace, and the host community.
During the visit, Kabiyesi alongside his traditional chief welcomed and congratulated the Rector on his successful appointment. He also emphasized the importance of teamwork among the College’s Management and called on the institution to make its presence felt in the community.
The King prayed for the Rector and asked for guidance as he leads the College. He also called on the Rector to work with the community to identify areas where the College can provide support.
In his response remark, the Rector thanked the King for his warm hospitality and apologized for the delay in visiting. He promised to build a more cordial relationship with the King and the community and to work together to identify ways to support the community.
The Rector also promised to provide basic amenities such as training and free healthcare aids for the community. He emphasized the College’s commitment to supporting the host community and pledged to work closely with the King to identify areas where the College can make a positive impact.


Oba Adeniyi also used the opportunity of the visit to donate traditional Gelede Mask to the College for the Museum.
Overall, the courtesy visit was a great success, and it’s a clear indication that both the College and the host community are committed to working together to build a stronger, more vibrant community.
