VIDEO: After Students Protest, MAPOLY Management Finally Removes Registration Fee

The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has finally removed the #20,000 registration fee from the school portal.
This came after a peaceful protest by the polytechnic students led by NANS JCC chairman and the students’ union government on Monday, where the union shut the school down demanding for the total removal of the registration fees and implementation of 60:40 school fee payment.
The students carried placards with different inscriptions: “Education is our right; “Bring back Our 60:40%” “Say no to registration fees” to express dissatisfaction over the registration fee.
The students’ union president, Comrade Sodiq Damilola, confirmed to POLYTV that the registration fees have been removed from the school portal. He said, “Management bows to pressure as management removes the 20K registration fee on the school admission portal.”
