LIST OF COURSES AND PROGRAMMES OFFERED IN OSUN STATE COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (OSCOTECH), ESA-OKE

Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa oke, is one of the state government owned tertiary institutions in Osun state. The polytechnic runs majorly two programmes, full-time and Daily part-time programme.

The college was formerly a satellite campus of the Ibadan Polytechnic. It became autonomous on 12 October 1992 when the Governor of Osun State, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, signed the law establishing the institution. The Osun State College of Technology was acclaimed by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) as one of the fastest growing Polytechnic in Nigeria

The vision of the College is to be a learning, research-driven, innovative and dynamic institution with national relevance and international recognition. Below are the programmes and courses available at OSCOTECH ESA-OKE.

1. FULL-TIME PROGRAMME.

The full-time programme is a programme for students admitted on merit, that is, candidates who passed the school entrance examinations and meet up with all the screening and entry requirements which include five (5) credits in relevant subjects at O’level plus English language and mathematics at not more than two sittings. The polytechnic runs a Full-time programme both at ND and HND level. One advantage of this programme is that it is cheap, affordable and lectures are Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Full-time admission requires Jamb.

2. DAILY PART-TIME PROGRAMME.

The Daily Part-time (DPT) Programme is more or less like the full-time programme, the only difference between the two is school fees, lecture hours and class allocation. This programme does not require JAMB but you need to apply for regularization to get a jamb registration number. The requirement for admission into a Daily Part time programme is five credits in relevant subjects including English language and mathematics at not more than two sittings either in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or SSCE.
