VIDEO: POLY IBADAN STUDENTS SHUT DOWN SCHOOL (Reason Will Shock You)

The students of the polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo state, in the early hours of Monday 16th May, shut down the polytechnic as they demand for their previous semester results to be released.
The protesters who were majorly part time students accused the student union government of betraying them.
One of the protesters who spoke with POLYTV said, “we have shut down the school, SUG betray part time students, part time examination has been suspended since 29th April while the school management scheduled full-time examination to commence today”
“No examination will hold today until the school management address our demand” the student said.
The Students also blocked the major roads that lead to the polytechnic as they insist management must address their demands.

The students are requesting for school management to fix portal issues as some of them are unable to process their registration on the school portal, they also demand for the bushes around classroom and examination hall to be cleared before examination can hold in the institution.
Reacting to this development, the registrar of the polytechnic has postponed all examinations till further notice.
According to information obtained from the registrar, he Said,
“The management of the institution has directed for the immediate suspension of the second semester 2020/2021 examination earlier slated to commence today May 16th until further notice, management is taking efforts to resolve all issues”
