Stop Issuing Fake Receipts – CEA POLYTECHNIC NIDSUG Warn Shop Owners

The Niger Delta union government, Captain Elechi Amadi polytechnic chapter has warned shop owners against issuing fake NIDSUG receipts to students on campus and has threaten to sanction any defaulter.
The union stated this after their emergency meeting on Thursday 12th May 2022.
According to a statement obtained by POLYTV, NIDSUG has threatened to deal with any one caught issuing fake receipts to students.
The statement reads,
“Our attention has been drawn to a fictitious communique with the above heading purportedly emanating from some cybercafè shop owners in the campus. And as a Students Union body we collaboratively acclaimed and also to announce to everyone in the campus both Students and shop owners that whosever that fraud, deceit, or mislead Students to pay for fake NIDSUG receipt or making falsely representation of his/herself as an Executive member of aforementioned Students Union Government will face the law of “IMPERSONATION” / FRAUD ” and it is clearly stated that from today 12th May, 2022 a Monitoring Team has formed for this purpose and any violator caught will be arrested and his/her shop will be locked said by the school management.

“Moreover, the new means of NIDSUG receipt payment will be communicated from next week. The current executives are working on an easy means for the students to pay their dues which the process will finalize shortly. And it is a laudable notice to all the Niger Delta students to stay away from illegality because any NIDSUG receipt that will carried today’s date till the date the Executives will make announcement for the new process will be invalid and it will be considered as an illegal act.
“For the Union entirely can not deliver the students who voted for them with this fraudulent act.
“For this executive will never sit and watch this irritating act going on in her administration.

“The law will definitely dealt with anyone caught in this fraudulent act be it the member of the executive, friends of the executive and any kind.
“At this juncture, we the entire NIDSUG Executives carried out the functional glances to hastily drawn-up the meeting to quickly discernible guidance for the students. and also for them to know the right way to pay for their NIDSUG receipt because any student that fail to follow the payment due process will end up paying twice.”
