YABATECH to Begin School of Health Tech at Epe Campus

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) will soon begin her School of Health Technology at its Epe Campus to run health related programmes including nursing courses.
The Rector of the foremost institution, Engr. Ibraheem Abdul disclosed this during a courtesy visit paid to the former first lady of Lagos state, Lady Doja Otedola at Otedola family compound yesterday in Odo Irangushi, Epe.
Engr Abdul intimated the matriarch of Otedolas that his administration is set to situate three capital projects of the college at its Epe campus to advance the course of the institution and Epe community in general amongst which are the School of Health Technology, Center for Open, Distance and Flexible E-Learning and expand its Information Communication Technology (ICT) programs.
This, he said, are in line with the new administration’s agenda of repackaging all academic and skills development programs of the college.
Dr. Abdul, who visited Lady Otedola for the first time since he assumed the duty as the Rector, thanked the Otedola’s family and entire Epe community for providing the land where its Epe campus resided free of charge and promised that the college will reciprocate the good gesture.
Earlier, Lady Otedola welcomed the Rector and his team to the Otedolas domain, and expressed her admiration for the man she was seeing for the first time. She appealed to YABATECH to engage in developmental projects as a way of giving back to Epe community, and change the employment status of the indigene of Odo-Irangushin working in the College from temporary to permanent staff.
Lady Otedola explained that Education is very important to the people of Epe, and advised YABATECH to do the needful by encouraging the youth in Epe to embrace education, because they are the future leaders. She thereby charged the management of YABATECH to do all they could to make Epe community happy.
