VC Lauds Founder Of Phoenix University, As NSUK Management Visit University.

Distinguished Senator Abdullahi Adamu has been commended for establishing Phoenix University, Agwada.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed gave the commendation when he led the management staff of the University on a working visit to the institution on Thursday, 14th March 2024.
Professor Suleiman described Distinguished Senator Abdullahi Adamu as a leader with vision and foresight who as the first civilian governor of Nasarawa State, established the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, noted as the fastest growing University in Nigeria, and also as a private citizen who established the first private University in Nasarawa State, Phoenix University, Agwada, which is set to provide high-quality education in a conducive environment with state-of-the-art equipment and laboratories.
The Vice-Chancellor while commending the management of Phoenix University, Agwada, for the good work they doing, assured them of NSUK’s support through active collaboration and engagements that will speed up the take-off process and ensure stability in the operations of the University.
Earlier in his welcome remark, the Vice-Chancellor of Phoenix University, Agwada, Professor Abdullahi Bala thanked the Vice-Chancellor of NSUK and his management team for the visit which he said was a sequel to an earlier visit he and his management team paid to NSUK.
Professor Abdullahi while underscoring the importance of the visit noted that the National Universities Commission NUC had appointed the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, as the mentor University of Phoenix University, Agwada, as such the visit cannot be taken for granted.

The Vice-Chancellor informed the visiting team that the University is set to commence academic activities with 24 programs across the Faculties of Management Sciences Computing and Technology, and Agricultural Science.
The high point of the visit was a tour of the faculties and facilities in the University and a presentation of souvenirs by both parties.
