African students accepted into some of the world’s most prestigious MBA programs now have an opportunity to ease their financial burden through the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship 2025. This initiative provides additional financial support to African postgraduates enrolling in MBA programs at the top 10 global business schools, as ranked by the Financial Times.
About the Scholarship
Established in 2011, the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship is a philanthropic initiative of the TY Danjuma Foundation, a Nigerian-based nonprofit founded in 2008. The scholarship is designed to support high-achieving African students pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration in the UK, USA, or Europe.
Each year, the program assists up to eight outstanding candidates. Since its inception, it has supported students from countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Morocco, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire.

Note: The scholarship is not intended to cover the full cost of the MBA program. It serves as a supplemental grant to assist students with funding shortfalls.
Eligible Business Schools (Based on Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2025)
Applicants must be admitted to one of the following institutions:
- University of Pennsylvania – Wharton
- Columbia Business School
- IESE Business School
- INSEAD
- SDA Bocconi School of Management
- MIT – Sloan
- London Business School
- Esade Business School
- HEC Paris
- Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be of African nationality
- Have received an offer of admission to an MBA program at one of the top 10 business schools listed above
- Demonstrate financial need through a funding shortfall and provide supporting documentation
How to Apply
To apply, send the following documents via email to mba@tyd-fo.co.uk no later than June 30, 2025:
- Full name
- Nationality
- Full contact details
- Name of the business school and year of enrollment
- Copy of the official offer letter from the business school
- Updated CV
- Personal budget, including documentation of funding shortfall and confirmed scholarships or loans
Applications submitted before June 1 or after June 30 will not be considered.
