The Polytechnic Ibadan (Ibadan Poly) Approved Academic Calendar for Second Semester 2024/2025 Session

The management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has officially released the approved academic calendar for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. According to the schedule, students are expected to resume on Monday, 14th April, 2025.

Registration for all students will run for two weeks, from Monday, 14th April to Sunday, 27th April, 2025. Those who fail to register within this period will be allowed a one-week late registration window, which runs from Monday, 28th April to Friday, 2nd May, 2025, with a penalty.

Lectures for the semester are set to commence on Monday, 21st April and will continue for 13 weeks, ending on Friday, 18th July, 2025. A one-week revision period will follow from Monday, 21st July to Friday, 25th July, 2025.

Second semester examinations will begin on Monday, 28th July and conclude on Saturday, 16th August, 2025. The marking and grading of scripts will take place over a four-week period from Monday, 18th August to Friday, 12th September, 2025.

The Faculty Coordinating Committee will convene on Monday, 15th September, 2025, to consider the results, followed by the Board of Studies (BOS) meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 17th to Thursday, 18th September, 2025.

The second semester will officially end on Friday, 19th September, 2025, rounding off a structured academic cycle aimed at ensuring timely completion of activities.
