STUDENTS ADVISED TO EXERCISE PATIENCE AS TALKS IS STILL ONGOING BETWEEN FG AND ASUP

Following the Ongoing hash tag trend #EndAsupStrike launched earlier today, we were made to understand by government source and security source in Abuja that talks Is still ongoing between ASUP and FG hence students should exercise patience.

The National association of polytechnic students says they are monitoring FG-ASUP negotiation and are strongly at the interest of Nigerian students appealing to students to be understanding as they are working behind closed doors to see that FG meets ASUP demand.

As regard to the issue of nationwide protests, students are urged to hold on for now pending the positive results of the negotiation between the polytechnic lecturers and ASUP.

There are some confidential information POLY TV cant disclose for now but all we can say is, talks is still going on between ASUP and FG hence your patience is required eventhough the strike is over a month with no good news yet.

In conclusion, In the information made available to Poly TV, we were made to understand that talks is still going on and NAPS has vowed to take necessary action while we await for positive results from government.we sincerely appreciate everyone of you that participate in the online protest.

If by this time next week there is no positive result, we won’t hesitate to resume the online protest.
