NAPS Laud Gov. Adeleke Over his Decision Against School Fee Increment in IREE POLY, OSCOTECH

The Students body under the aegis of the National Association of Polytechnic students (NAPS) has commended the efforts of the state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke against school fees increment at the Osun state polytechnic Iree and Osun state college of Technology Esa Oke. 

The union advised the state government to make proper announcements regarding the cancellation of the school fee increments which has generated mixed reaction online and in the polytechnic so as to put the mind of the students at rest.

Comrade Adeniji Boluwaji, NAPS Deputy Senate president assured that the association(NAPS) will continue to protect the interest of polytechnic students across various states in the country.

“Sacking of the Rector Osun State Polytechnic Iree and Rector Osun State college of technology Esa Oke is a good decision to advert crisis from Students Community, because those Rector got to Office few weeks ago and decided to increase the school fees and Punish Nigerian Students in this hardship, indeed the Executive Governor has proven to us that some Leaders can still be trusted if given opportunity to Lead, His Excellency has started well and we pray that he continues in this direction of making the interest of the Students Community as Priority.”

“The Senate arm of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is appealing to His Excellency Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke the Governor of Osun State to make the Proper announcement of total Cancelation of the purported fee increment not just the Sacking alone.”

“Our stand is that there shouldn’t be any increment in the school Fee for now considering the Economy Challenge in the County.”
