As the first Indegeous and Substantive Provost since the inception of the College to be elected from within the academic staff of the college though contestants drawn from within and outside, equally the first provost to be elected from school of Vocation, I have the singular honor and privilege to heartily welcome you all to this noble and unique Tertiary Institution of Learning.

Kwara State College of Education (Technical) Lafiagi is unique because it is the only Technical College of Education in the Kwara North Senatorial district and one of the very few types yet to be converted to Federal College of Education (Technical) in Nigeria. She is a Centre for academic excellence with one of the best modern ICT centers, Libraries among other facilities. I wish to assure you of the availability of enough human and material resources that will easily facilitate your teaching/learning processes here in Lafiagi.
