Lens Poly Offa Runs Accredited Courses, Mobilizes Students For NYSC- Mgt. Tells Matriculating Students

Management of the Lens Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State has announced that the institution is running eighteen National Diploma (ND) and ten Higher National Diploma (HND) courses fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
The Proprietor of the institution, Mr. Yisa Azeez disclosed this in his address at the 11th matriculation ceremony held on Friday.
The Proprietor who charged the newly admitted students to aim higher among their peers added that the institution remains the best private Polytechnic in Nigeria mobilizing students for National Youths Service Corps ( NYSC ).
Speaking further, he noted that the institution witnessed a great transformation from Innovation Enterprise Institution to a full-fledged Polytechnic with accredited courses at all levels.
While returning all the glory back to God Almighty, he urged the students to have a vision and pursue their vision to become reality.
Earlier, the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Ademola Ebeloku in his matriculating speech warned students to shun cultism, indecent dressing, and other social vices that are detrimental to their academic careers. He urged the students to be focused and remain good ambassadors of the institution.
Also speaking, the Polytechnic Registrar, Mr. Hammed Olalekan who swore in the matriculating students emphasized the importance of registration as a certification of being bonafide students of the Polytechnic.
He further noted that no student should neglect any office as all students are expected to be fully registered before the commencement of the examination.
While his Royal Highness, the Onidun of Igbo-Idun, Oba Abdul-Azeez Olasunkanmi who represented the Olofa of Offa, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi Oloyede Esuwoye ll showered the students with royal blessings. Kabiesi noted his awareness and familiarity with the good track records of Lens Polytechnic which propelled him to enroll his child to study in the institution. He commended the management and urged them to keep the flag flying higher.
Speaking on security tips, the Nigerian Navy College of Health Sciences Commandant, represented by Lieutenant Commander Ugwuanyi assured the students of maximum security, he enjoined the students to be security conscious and report any suspicious movements at all times.
