Kano State Polytechnic Resumes, commences Registration for fresh and returning students
The Management of Kano State Polytechnic wishes to inform both the newly admitted and returning Students that the registration exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session commences on Monday 6th January, 2025.
Find below the respective procedures and other details for the registration.
2024/2025 REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR FRESH STUDENTS
Step 1: Candidate should log in to his/her account to accept or reject the admission.
Step 2: Candidate should make the following payment before printing his admission letter:
i. Admission Acceptance Fee — N5,000.00
ii. Student Handbook — N2,000.00
Step 3: Candidate should log in to his/her JAMB account to accept and print JAMB admission letter.
Step 4: Candidate should proceed to his respective department for screening, S.E.S. & SORTED at Central Administration, where the admission letters will be signed and stamped.
Step 5: After screening, the candidate should proceed to the Unit Accountant Office to collect customized tellers for the following payments:
- Departmental Registration — N1,000.00
- School Registration — N2,000.00
- Clinic Registration — N2,000.00
- Unions Dues — N1,200.00
Step 6: Candidate should proceed to Microfinance Bank for the payment.
Step 7: Candidate should go to the Old Admin Block at the School of Management Studies to submit the teller and collect an official receipt.
Step 8: Candidate should meet the M.I.S. staff at their respective school (with the exception of S.E.S. & SORTED at the School of Management Studies) for central registration upload with the photocopies of the following documents:
- Copy of screened Polytechnic admission letter
- Copy of JAMB admission letter (for ND)
- Copy of official receipts
Step 9: Then re-log into your account to:
i. Pay central registration fee
ii. Print receipts
iii. Print course registration form (C.R.F.)
iv. Print student examination card
Step 10: Proceed to the library for library registration.
Step 11: Proceed to the Bursary Department at Central Administration for payment authentication.
Step 12: Proceed to the clinic for medical screening.
Step 13: Proceed to the Consultancy Unit at Central Administration for I.D. card payment.
Step 14: Finally, proceed to the department with copies of all your credentials and two recent passport photographs to submit to your department for documentation.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURES RETURNING STUDENTS
Step 1: Student should proceed to his/her respective Department to collect Clearance Form.
Step 2: Student should proceed to Unit Accountant office to collect Customized Tellers for the followings:
- Departmental Registration: N1,000.00
- School Registration: N2,000.00
- Clinic Registration: N2,000.00
- Unions Dues: N1,200.00
- Entrepreneurship Training: N5,000.00
Step 3: Proceed to Micro Finance bank to make Payments.
Step 4: Student should go to Old Admin Block at School of Management Studies to submit Teller and Collect Official Receipt.
Step 5: Meet M.I.S. representative at your Unit School to submit copies of the followings:
- Photocopy of Clearance Form
- Photocopy of Previous Payment (Authenticated)
- Photocopies Receipts for the Above Payments
Step 6: Log into your Account to:
i. Pay Central Registration Fee
ii. Print Receipts
iii. Print Course Registration Form (C.R.F.)
iv. Print Student Examination Card
Step 7: Proceed to Bursary Department for Payment Authentication.
Step 8: Proceed to Clinic for Medical Screening.
Step 9: Proceed to Consultancy Unit at Central Administration for I.D. Card Payment.
Step 10: Finally submit the Authenticated Evidence of Payment and other registration document to your department.
REGISTRATION FOR PRE-ND TO ND I STUDENTS
Step 1: Student should proceed to School of Basic Studies and Collect Placement Form.
Step 2: Student should proceed to his/her placed Department to collect Clearance Form.
Step 3: Student Should Proceed to Unit School Accountant to collect Customized Tellers for the followings:
- Departmental Registration: N1,000.00
- School Registration: N2,000.00
- Clinic Registration: N2,000.00
- Unions Dues: N1,200.00
Step 4: Proceed to Micro Finance bank to make Payments.
Step 5: Proceed to Old Admin Block at S.M.S to collect Official Receipt.
Step 6: Meet M.I.S. representative at your Unit School to submit copies of the followings:
- Photocopy of Placement Form
- Photocopy of Clearance Form
- Photocopy of Previous Payment (Authenticated)
- Photocopy of Official Receipts
Step 7: Log into your Account to:
v. Pay Central Registration Fee
vi. Print Receipts
vii. Print Course Registration Form (C.R.F.)
viii. Print Student Examination Card
Step 8: Proceed to Bursary Department for Payment Authentication.
Step 9: Proceed to Clinic for Medical Screening.
Step 10: Proceed to Consultancy Unit at Central Administration for I.D. Card Payment.
Step 11: Finally, proceed to the Department with copies of all your Credential and two recent passport photographs to your department for documentation.
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
I am pleased to inform all newly admitted students to come along with the two (2) Photocopies of the following for documentation after successful completion of the Central Registration to their respective Departmental Administrative Officer.
- Duly signed Polytechnic Admission Letter Jamb Admission Letter (ND Students Only)
- UTME Result Slip (ND Students Only)
- ‘A’ Level Results (HND and Advanced Diploma)
- SSCE/NECO Results/Scratch Card Primary School Leaving Certificate
- Birth Certificate/Declaration of age Authenticated Payment Receipt
- Course Registration Form (CRF)
- Library Registration Form
- Medical Certificate
- Duly signed Undertaking Form
- NIN Slip Two (2) recent passport size photographs
