KANO POLY RECTOR ATTENDS TIES TRAINING OPENING CEREMONY

The Rector, Kano State Polytechnic, Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa has on Saturday 21st May, 2022 attended the opening ceremony of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme (TIES) organized by Entrepreneurship Education Directorate (EED), of the Institution held at the School of Technology, Kano.
While addressing the gathering, the Rector disclosed that, the scheme was recently introduced by the CBN specifically for HND and Degree holders to have access to cheap loans which will help them to create small businesses, enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem, support economic growth as well as the development of the entire nation.
Dr. Dungurawa commended the Directorate under the able leadership of Dr. Gazali Ado for organizing this auspicious training to our teaming graduates within and outside the Polytechnic.


He stressed that the participants will acquire the necessary skills thereby making them to be Job-Providers instead of Job-Seekers.

Those in attendance include the Registrar, Mukhtar Ibrahim Bello seasoned Scholars and other staff of the Polytechnic.
