INAUGURATION OF NON-ACADEMIC STAFF UNION (NASU) FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OF OIL AND GAS, BONNY BRANCH.
The Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny Branch held her first Election to elect pioneer officers that will pilot the affairs of the young union for the next four years.
The Elected officers are:
1.Comr Elekwachi Gift O. (Branch Chairman)
2. Comr Harris Boma Innocent (Secretary)
3. Comr. Rita Loveday Benstowe (Treasurer)
4. Comr. Dominic Ogbu- Ejeh (Ex-officio 1)
5.Comr. Godswill Sunday
(Ex-Officio 2)
6. Comr. Kure Ekpenyong
(Ex-Officio 3)
7. Comr. Francis Hart
(Ex-Officio 4)
8. Comr. Blessing Jumbo
(Ex-Officio 5)
In attendance were the State Chairman of NASU , Comr. Azubuike Nkasiobi and the State Secretary Mrs C. C. Ogunmakin, who paid a Familiarization tour to the Acting Rector, Mrs. Ibifiri Blessing Pollyn. The Executive of other sister Trade Unions such as the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics (SSANIP) were also in attendance.
The newly elected officers affirmed to work with other Unions and the Management for progression of the Polytechnic.
