GAPOSA students protest as Arm Robber returns to the Polytechnic community

The students of Gateway ICT Polytechnic Saapade, Ogun State, staged a peaceful protest on Tuesday morning over the incessant robbery in the polytechnic community.
The students lamented the rate of insecurity off-campus, stressing that they can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed.
“We are calling on the appropriate authorities to come to our aid; we’ve lost all our belongings to these criminals who are robbing our students and injuring them in the process.”
“We are tired of getting robbed every day; we want the school management to fix this,” one of the students said to POLYTV.
Reacting to the incident, the school management appealed to the students to give them 7 working days to address the issue.
Meanwhile, the Polytechnic students said that the issue of armed robbery has been happening in the Polytechnic community for more than a month now, thereby calling on the school management to find a lasting solution to curb the issue.
