Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Releases New Academic Calendar for Second Semester 2024/2025
The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has officially released the proposed academic calendar for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. The schedule outlines key academic activities, including lecture commencement, continuous assessments, union events, and examination dates.
Students are expected to resume and begin lectures on Monday, 16th June 2025. The calendar also highlights important dates for assessments, with the first Continuous Assessment Test scheduled from 21st to 25th July 2025, and the second from 18th to 22nd August 2025.
Late registration, which comes with a penalty, begins Monday, 25th August 2025, while the Students’ Union Week is set to hold between 8th and 13th September 2025. Course registration will close on Friday, 12th September 2025, followed by the end of lectures and revision on 19th September 2025.
Second Semester Examinations will run from 22nd September to 11th October 2025. Afterward, SIWES (Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme) kicks off on 20th October 2025, alongside other post-examination activities such as script marking, auditing, and results processing.
The 2025/2026 academic session is scheduled to begin on Monday, 12th January 2026, after the conclusion of academic staff annual leave in December.
Students are advised to take note of these dates and prepare accordingly to avoid missing deadlines or penalties.
