FCET Umunze Student Gets Federal Government also
Miss Ezugwu Mercy Chinenye of Department of Early Childhood and Primary Education of the College has been offered scholarship in the recent 2020/2021 Federal Government Scholarship for Students in Nigeria Public Tertiary Institutions.
The award letter signed by the Director, Federal Scholarship Board on behalf of the Minister of Education, indicated that the scholarship is for three years and valued at N250,000.00 (Two hundred and fifty thousand naira only) per session.
The Provost, Dr Tessy Okoli, while congratulating the beneficiary charged her to sustain her impressielve academic performances, adding that more valued scholarship opportunities awaits her in the future.
She urged other students of the College to be serious with their studies and be confident enough to apply for scholarships whenever it is available.
Dr Okoli lauded the Federal Government for coming up with series of programmes designed to encourage literacy in the country and for availing the less privileged access to quality education.
Responding, the beneficiary thanked the President Muhammed Buhari led administration for coming up with programmes that will boost academic excellence in the country. She also thanked the College Management for creating an enabling environment for students of the college to thrive and subsequently benefit from the scholarship.
Present during the presentation of the award letter were the Registrar, BC Nkah and the Head of Department of Early Childhood and Primary Education, Dr J.A Udechukwu.
