Eid-el-Kabir: ATAP SUG Urges Muslim Students to Embrace Unity, Sacrifice, and Compassion

As the Eid-el-Kabir festivities approach, the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP), Bauchi Chapter, has extended warm felicitations to all Muslim students, encouraging them to embrace the true spirit of the celebration.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, the SUG President, Comrade Usman Aliyu, conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community of the institution. He described Eid-el-Adha as a sacred and meaningful festival rooted in sacrifice, obedience, and faith—core values demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim and commemorated during the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
“On behalf of the entire executive council, I wish all Muslim students a joyous and spiritually uplifting Eid-el-Kabir. Let us remember the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and reflect on the values of compassion, humility, and unity,” the SUG President stated.
The Union also urged students to use the festive period to show kindness to the less privileged and to promote peaceful coexistence across all religious divides within the campus and beyond.
“As we celebrate, let us not forget those in need. Our unity as a student body lies in our ability to support and respect one another, regardless of our differences,” the message added.
Meanwhile, the Union reminded all students to ensure strict compliance with the academic calendar, urging prompt resumption after the holiday period.
The message was signed by Comrade Abubakar Muhammadu, Chief Press Secretary to the SUG President.
Happy Eid-el-Kabir to all Muslim faithfuls from the leadership of ATAP SUG. May this celebration bring peace, renewal, and blessings to all.
