EDO POLY; SUG PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO THE ELAWURE OF USEN

The Student Union Government, Edo State Polytechnic pays a courtesy visit to Elawure of Usen, Olu-Ogbe II, seeks a synegy between the community and the Union for the betterment of the Students.
The Student Union Government ably led by Comr. Gasali Sodiq Opeyemi has yesterday, May 23 visited the palace of His royal Majesty Olu-Ogbe II to appreciate his efforts contributed so far towards the advancement of the Polytechnic and to seek a collaboration between the institution and it community.
His Royal Majesty, Olu-Ogbe II in his reaction appreciates the SUG body and promised to always contribute his maximum support when needed, he stressed that the Polytechnic is the pride of the community.
The Union having presented some of the challenges confronting the Students in the community such as increment in the pay for house rent and unavailability of community/students committe to settle issues involving the community and Polytechnic.

His royal Majesty Olu-Ogbe II in his response to the Union, noted that a committee will be put in place to look into their request as soon as possible. He further noted “a tree does not make a forest therefore, always carry the authority of the land along in matters involving the polytechnic and its community.
The Union president, Comr. Gasali Sodiq Opeyemi, appreciates the King for granting the Union an audience out of his busy schedule and for being supportive.
