The College of Education Gindiri is a statutory organ, established and owned by the Plateau State Government. It is fundamentally a diploma awarding institution, although it also awards certificates and hopes to award degrees in the near future. Its academic programmes are regulated and supervised by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), a Federal Government owned parastatal.
