AFIT Students Shine in “Innovation in Motion” Competition

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) is making strides in developing students’ professional skills through the “Innovation in Motion” faculty competition. Organized by the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences under the leadership of Air Cdre EA Ejodame, the contest challenged students to create two-minute videos showcasing their career aspirations and personal growth at AFIT.
The initiative aligns with the vision of AFIT Commandant, AVM SL Rabe, to position the institution as a global center of academic and research excellence. Participants demonstrated remarkable creativity and passion, reflecting AFIT’s commitment to holistic education.
Mr. Yahaya Abubakar from the International Relations Department clinched the Gold Award, while Miss Susana Echichi secured Silver, and Miss Oritsejubemi Christiana took home Bronze. Other outstanding submissions came from Miss Peace Okeke (International Relations) and Mr. Godwin Charles (Accounting), who also received awards for their compelling videos.
A total of six other finalists were recognized, with all awardees receiving cash prizes and certificates. The competition not only celebrated their achievements but also inspired fellow students to strive for excellence in their academic and professional journeys.
