Ojoku Polytechnic Overall Best Student Gets Cash Prize

The Management of The Polytechnic Ojoku has celebrated the best overall student in the institution with a cash prize.
The student in the person of Mosaku Ololade Abiodun from the Department of Accountancy topped her colleagues in the first-semester result for the 2021/2022 academic session.
The cash prize was sponsored by the Director of the Students’ Affairs Unit, Mr. Ibrahim Alate, and the Head of the Public Relations Unit, Mr. Hammed J. Sulaiman. According to them, they believe it would serve as motivation for the entire students to strive to become better version of themselves. The cash prize was presented by Mr Jimoh Taofik and Mr Hammed Sulaiman.
During the presentation of the cash prize in Lecture Room I, students were advised on the examination tips and were also motivated about life nuggets.
“You all have to understand why you are here and must strive to be a good ambassador of your family, community, and this institution.”

The awardee, Mosaku Ololade in an interview, gave thanks to God and also appreciated her family. She said: “I thank God Almighty because I don’t see it coming. I thank my parents for their support and motivation. I appreciate my colleagues, too. I believe I can still do better.” She opined.

The Acting HOD of her Department, Mr. Adeniyi Abdullahi, revealed that though it wasn’t an easy task, he appreciated the sponsors while stating that “it is a beauty of academic… and for all other students, I believe it should motivate them to read and do more.” He stated.
The second-semester examination is starting next week, and the new session commences next month.
