Jubilation as BENPOLY Management Grants Approval for Defaulter Students to Write Exams

Students of The Benue state Polytechnic Ugbokolo, were over excited today as the newly appointed Acting Rector granted approval for all students to write examinations without payment of school fee. This is to ensure that all students participate in the forthcoming first semester 2021/2022 examinations
This approval follows the Students union (SUG) meeting the school management as they pleaded on behalf of the students to permit defaulter students to sit for the forthcoming examinations due to the economic meltdown.
The SUG president while addressing students at the end of the meeting said, “I want to congratulate you all for this good news. Exams will be held on 12th July, 2022 as scheduled. Feel free to write your exams without disturbance as the Rector approved that all students should be allowed to write exams without completing registration formalities.
“This was stated today during the management meeting of the SUG, Departmental presidents, NAIS president, and the community chiefs. The opinions of student leaders were highly considered before arriving at the final decision.”
He added that “The agreement was unanimously sealed as the meeting was brought to a close with smiles on both faces.”
