Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Opens 2025/2026 PGD Admissions in Partnership with Top Universities

The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has announced the commencement of its Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session through strategic affiliations with renowned universities and institutions across Nigeria.

The Directorate of University Affiliations and Linkages of the Polytechnic confirmed that the PGD programmes will be offered in collaboration with Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi, the University of Maiduguri, and the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

In Affiliation with the University of Maiduguri:

In Affiliation with the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna:

Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess either:

• A Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university, or
• A Higher National Diploma (HND) in a related discipline from an NBTE-approved polytechnic.

Programme Duration

• Most PGD programmes run for one academic session (two semesters), except those in partnership with NDA Kaduna, which extend to two academic sessions (four semesters).
• Lectures and practical sessions will be conducted at the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi campus.

• Application fees range between ₦10,000 – ₦15,000 depending on the programme, inclusive of ICT charges.

• November 30, 2025: For PGD in Mass Communication (University of Maiduguri) and Engineering programmes (NDA Kaduna).
• January 6, 2026: For programmes affiliated with Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi.
