Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a national of a developing country
  • Hold a first degree (minimum of 180 ECTS credits or equivalent)
  • Have completed at least 15 ECTS in economics or related modules
  • Possess a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience after graduation
  • Not have graduated more than six years ago
  • Meet HTW Berlin’s English language requirements (IELTS/TOEFL not mandatory if prior education was in English)

Required Documents

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  1. Motivation letter (max. 2 pages, dated and signed)
  2. Curriculum Vitae in Europass format (dated and signed)
  3. Official academic transcripts and degree certificates (with certified translations if not in English or German)
  4. Explanation of the grading system (usually part of the transcript or diploma supplement)
  5. Secondary School Leaving Certificate (with graduation date)
  6. Proof of English language proficiency (only if applicable)
  7. Copy of valid passport
