Kebbi Polytechnic SUG President Reinstated a Week After Allegation of Misusing Office

The SUG President of Waziri Umaru Federal polytechnic Birnin Kebbi, Comrade Nazir has been reinstated by the Student Union parliament, a week after he was accused of diverting Student union funds for personal use.
The SUG president alongside his welfare director who were both suspended last week have been reinstated today following the intervention of student representatives and outsiders.
The Student Union Parliament Speaker, Honourable Abdumalik Faruk confirmed to POLYTV that the suspension on the SUG executives has been lifted.
According to a document obtained by POLYTV from the parliament dated Thursday 30th June 2022 which in part reads,
“Prior to the decision taken by the parliament, containing 26 representatives, the previous bulletin gave a directive to suspend COMRADE NAZIR MUKTAR released on the 26th June 2022.”
“The entire members of the parliament, due to the intervention of outsiders, agreed to revoke the sequel decision by the parliament early this week.

The statement added “The suspension ban has been lifted you are urge to resume office as soon as possible”
