Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas Bonny 2022/2023 Registration Procedures for all Students

This is to inform all prospective students for 2022/2023 Academic Session that their registration exercise would commence on Thursday, 6th October, 2022. Students are by this notice advised to visit the Admissions Office for verification of O’ Level Result(s) and collection of Payment Permit Form.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
1. On arrival at the polytechnic candidates are to visit the Admissions Office for collection of the Registration Procedure Form.
2. Candidates are expected to come with the photocopy of their O’ Level Result(s) for verification and collection of Acceptance Fee and other charges Payment Permit Form, which must be duly signed by the authorized officers.
3. Candidates should proceed to the bank for payment of Acceptance Fee and other charges after verification exercise.
4. For payment of all types of fees, please see the following steps below.
A. STEPS FOR PAYMENT OF FEES
(1) Student(s) are to obtain payment invoices for Acceptance, Hostel Accommodation and other charges from the Admissions Office.
2. Students(s) are to take payment invoices to the Bursary Department (Students’ Account Officer) to generate RRR code.
3. Proceed to any Commercial Bank with the generated RRR code for payment of a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (20,000.00) and the sum of Sixty Two Thousand Naira Only (62,000.00) for other charges.
4. The Bank would issue the student(s) e-Receipt(s) after payment.
5. Student(s) are to take the generated RRR e-Receipt(s) to the Bursary Department for verification and certification. The Students’ Account Officer acknowledges and verifies the payment(s) and issue a copy of the verified RRR e-Receipt to the student(s).
6. Student(s) are to visit the Admissions Office with evidence(s) of payment(s) and other credentials for their registration exercise.
7. Students are also to come with Six (6) Office Flat Files. (viii) NOTE: Student(s) are enjoined to adhere strictly to the steps as listed above.

B. REGISTRATION IN ADMISSIONS OFFICE
For the registration and documentation exercise, student(s) are to proceed to the Admissions Office with the originals and photocopies of all their credentials which must include the following:
- Interested candidates are also advised to proceed to any JAMB CBT Centre or visit a Cyber Café to effect their change of institution to Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas Bonny as first choice. Candidates offered admission are admonished to accept their admission immediately.
- JAMB Admission Letter
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’ Level Result(s) or Statement of Result(s).
- Birth Certificate or Statutory Declaration of Age.
- Attestation Letter from either of the following: Clergy Man, Senior Civil Servant, Traditional Ruler.
- Local Government Identification Letter.
- Twenty (20) copies of recent Passport Photograph.
- Originals and photocopies of all receipts used for payment of Acceptance Fee and other charges inclusive of Bank Tellers and Invoices.
- The Payment Permit Form signed by the authorized officers.
C. REGISTRATION IN THE SCHOOLS/ DEPARTMENTS AND STUDENTS AFFAIRS DIVISION
1. For registration and documentation exercise at the schools, departments and thStudents Affairs Division the procedure would include: (1) Forwarding of lists of all admitted students to the various schools anddepartments.
2. Students after completing their registration with the Admissions Office would be required to first visit their schools for verification/registration exercise before proceeding to their departments for same.
3.Students are also expected to go to the Students’ Affairs Division for registration.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. Admitted candidates who have not accepted their admission on JAMB website should do so immediately.
2. Candidates who are yet to upload their O’ Level Result(s) on JAMB website should please do so immediately as non-upload of the O’ Level Result(s) can limit their chances of admission.
3. Candidates are further advised to monitor their admission process.
