15 Loan Apps in Nigeria That Will Give You Money and Leave You Alone Without Stressing You with Calls and Interests
If you’ve ever borrowed money from some of these ruthless loan apps in Nigeria, you’ll know that the real debt isn’t the money you owe—it’s the endless harassment, calls to your contacts, and the shame they drag you through. But what if I told you that not all loan apps are demons in disguise? Yes, there are actually some loan apps that will lend you money and still let you breathe, without making your life miserable with threats or defamation. In this article, I’ll be listing 15 loan apps in Nigeria that will give you loans and leave you alone without killing you with crazy interest or embarrassing calls.
15 Loans Apps That Will Give You Loan and Leave You Alone
1. Branch
Branch is one of the best loan apps. It offers longer repayment duration and low interest. Only one overdue interest is charged, after which they won’t disturb you again. You may receive calls, but it’s usually just once or twice a day.
2. FairMoney
FairMoney will reach out via texts and calls, but the good thing is they don’t add daily overdue interest like other apps. If you stop answering their calls or negotiate your loan terms with them, they’ll eventually leave you alone.
3. Carbon
Carbon is very decent. No harassment or defamation, and they won’t call you endlessly. However, you may receive constant reminder messages.
4. Renmoney
Omo, Renmoney interest no be small oo! But if what you want is a loan app that will give you money and leave you alone, Renmoney is good to go. They won’t frustrate your life like some of these evil apps.
5. Aella Credit
Aella Credit is a reliable loan app. Their interest is similar to that of other reputable apps. They don’t harass or defame you, but they may call, text, or email you as a reminder. Still, they won’t stress you with crazy interest.
6. Aida Credit
This is one of the fastest-rising loan apps in Nigeria. Their interest rate is fair, and they won’t frustrate you with constant calls.
7. EaseMoni and Okash
These two are operated by Blue Ridge Microfinance Bank. Depending on how much you owe, they’ll give you loans and mostly leave you alone. The only challenge is the daily overdue interest, which can be stressful. But they won’t defame you or embarrass your contacts.
8. PalmCredit, NewCredit, XcrossCash
These apps belong to the same company. They’ll give you loans and may leave you alone depending on your repayment behavior. If you don’t want them disturbing you, just stop picking their calls. However, the disadvantage is the daily overdue interest. These apps may send abusive messages but will reduce calling you once you stop picking
9. Flexi Cash in PalmPay
Surprised? Yes, PalmPay loans are usually ruthless—they can curse and defame you. But here’s the trick: don’t use your main line to register. Use an alternate number or a fresh SIM. That way, if you default, they won’t bother you much. Just know that the overdue interest will keep piling. I owe them 15k and I still sleep conveniently without calls. They’ve stopped sending abusive messages because of this trick I used.
10. Migo Loan
Migo is straightforward and flexible. They won’t bombard you with unlimited calls if you default. Their interest is also fair compared to others.
11. QuickCheck Loan
QuickCheck loans come with fair interest and longer repayment duration. The longer the duration, the higher the interest. They’ll give you loans and not stress you too much, but they’ll still make attempts to recover debts.
12. UMBA
UMBA is not very popular, but it’s a decent option. They won’t stress your life like the notorious loan sharks. If you want a loan app that won’t frustrate you with calls, you can give this a try.
13. Wema Bank Quick Loan
Wema Bank offers quick loans for customers with a good credit score. No harassment, no endless calls. You’ll be left alone, but of course, repayment is compulsory.
14. Access Bank Personal Loan
Access Bank also offers personal loans to qualified individuals. You can apply through their loan app or at a branch. For example, the first loan Access Bank gave me back in 2020 was ₦4,000, and I still haven’t paid it back till now. But guess what? No harassment and overdue interest.
15. FCMB Personal Loan
Like Access Bank, FCMB offers instant personal loans to loyal customers. You need to have been using the bank for a while to qualify. They don’t give loans to just anyone, but if you qualify, the process is smooth. No harassment, no unnecessary calls. The interest rate is fair, and they won’t spam your phone.
Tips for Success with Loan Apps
If you want loan apps to give you money and leave you alone, here are some survival hacks:
- Use fake contacts as guarantors.
- Don’t use your primary phone number when registering. Use an alternate number to avoid embarrassment if things escalate.
This is not “dem say”—I personally owe plenty of loan apps. It wasn’t intentional, but I had nobody to run to, so I had no other choice. These survival tips saved me from embarrassment and gave me peace of mind. Today, I’m paying back in bits but not under pressure or harassment. Remember, debt isn’t a criminal offence. When you find yourself in a financial crisis and family or friends can’t help, loan apps can be a lifeline—just be smart about which ones you choose.
